    SPINA

    Structure parameter inference approach for endocrine feedback control

    SPINA is software for determining constant structure parameters of endocrine feedback control systems from hormone levels obtained in vivo. The first version of this cybernetic approach allows for evaluating the functional status of the thyroid gland, i.e. thyroid's secretory capacity (GT or SPINA-GT) and sum activity of peripheral deiodinases (GD or SPINA-GD). A second version has been developed for insulin-glucose homeostasis. It delivers the secretory capacity of pancreatic beta cells (SPINA-GBeta), an estimate for the insulin receptor gain (SPINA-GR) and a static disposition index as a measure for the loop gain of the feedback loop (SPINA-DI). Both implementations of SPINA have been validated in clinical studies on the basis of large cohorts.

It also allows making changes of numeric base, prime factor decomposition, solving linear equation systems, statistical and financial computations, rational fraction decomposition and plotting some control engineering graphs. PeCalc includes comprehensive user help in English and Spanish. Currently PeCalc runs on Android and MS Windows. A version for GNU Linux is planned for the near future. It has been developed in Object Pascal using Embarcadero Delphi. A Lazarus/Free Pascal version will be available soon too.

    The software for solving special problems of mathematics and physics

    The project "FD-Method For Solving PDEs" contains the software for solving the nonlinear Klein-Gordon equations (see www.arxiv.org/abs/1203.5979 for more detail). The project "Infinite systems of matrix equations" consists in developing algorithms and software for solving systems of matrix equations. In the present version the project allows one to solve an infinite system of matrix equations which arises in the theory of stability preserving structural transformations of systems of second-order ODEs (see http://arxiv.org/abs/1204.1814). The project "Nonlinear Stourm-Liouville Problems with Distribution Potentials" is developed for solving nonlinear Sturm-Liouville problems with integrable potentials including Dirac delta function. The numerical-analytical method used in the project is called the FD-method.
